hmm I know people who use a similar excuse... but consider this: such an attitude does not simply prevent people from stealing your thoughts, it prevents you from being acknowledged for them, from others hearing them... but I guess if your feeling you have yet to get your writings to the quality you want thats understandable.
Division is in my DA gallery, my only film there- on mouse hover you see multiple images from the film. I clearly didn't take that approach with Division- it is flawed at telling the story. However the concept is good and some of the people that I have given a copy to include an animation producer (a guy I met at Eirtakon) and someone who writes TV proposals (a girl I met at life drawing, she said she would give it back to me the next week- and never came back-grrr)... but at the same time the result is that these people and all the others that have bought copies and seen it online can actually protect its copyright as well as endanger it. Distributing can also help fund future projects and pay back past ones.
